How the Mug Works
1. Wash the mug before use. Color in the roads you have traveled and the landmarks you have visited (circles on the mug) with the included blue pen.
2. Let the ink dry for about 15 minutes.
3. To set the color permanently, remove the blue lid and sleeve and bake the mug in a pre-heated oven at 160°C/320°F for 25 minutes. Leave to cool in the oven.
4. Add more places whenever you return from a new adventure.

This is a different and fun mug. Only one color pen but you can buy others.
I got this mug for my husband who travels. He liked it.
I got this for my daughter and her boyfriend as they were embarking on a road trip. They both liked it and thought it was a great idea.
I bought this Road Trip Mug because I like the map of the United States with the various landmarks and highways. I don't know that I would actually "take it everywhere (I) you go" as the box suggests because it's a heavy ceramic and the box says "Fragile" but I will probably use it around the house. It holds 16.9 ounces and it's also microwave and dishwasher safe. It comes with a special pen so you can mark your travels and the box has instructions on "how it works" step-by-step. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the map is of the Contiguous United States (sorry Alaska and Hawaii) and the writing is easy to read.
